Medical, Prescription Drug and Vision – Thompson provides two comprehensive, affordable medical plans for you to choose from. You and Thompson share the cost of coverage.
Dental- Our dental plan includes diagnostic and preventive care, as well as coverage for dentures, bridgework, and crowns. You and Thompson share the cost of coverage.
Wellness Plan- This plan offers many free health screenings for you and your spouse and provides access to health related information. This plan is fully paid for by Thompson.
Flexible Spending Accounts- The Company offers a flexible spending account for both dependent care and health care expenses- allowing you the opportunity to take advantage of tax savings that can increase your take-home pay.
Employee Assistance Program- The EAP provides you and your family members with professional help for all types of personal problems. The help you receive form the EAP is free, confidential and voluntary.
Life and AD&D- Thompson pays the full cost for life insurance of one and one-half times your annual gross income (minimum of $20,000 and maximum of $200,000).
Funeral Policy- Thompson also provides you, your spouse and dependent children with a $5,000 funeral policy.
Voluntary Group Life- You can choose additional voluntary group life coverage at group rates for yourself, spouse and children.
Disability- When you choose coverage under the disability plan, Thompson shares the cost of coverage with you. Hourly employees can receive as much as 66 2/3% of base pay (up to a $1,000 weekly maximum) during the first 13 weeks and as much as 60% of base pay (up to a $5,000 monthly maximum) after the first 13 weeks. Salary employees can receive as much as 60% of base pay (up to a $10,000 monthly maximum).
Profit Sharing/401(K) Plan- Each year Thompson makes a Profit Sharing contribution to your account –allowing you to share in the company’s success! The amount of Profit Sharing contribution you’ll receive is based on your years of service and earnings. Your eligible to receive a profit sharing contribution on the January 1 after your date of hire – even if you do not participate in the 401(K) Plan. If you choose to participate in the 401(K) Plan, you can defer up to %15 of your salary on a pre-tax basis and 15% on an after-tax basis.
